The not so quaint |
The weirdness of Devens |
Reporting live from inside the Kremlin senior Russian correspondent, Pedrag Dubstoyevsky |
Ride Stats: 29 miles (46 k), 14 mph, a few minutes over two hours. Almost warm. 40s. Weak sun. The mad winds of yesterday's coastal blizzard are absent. Soon arrives the month of the Rasputitsa!
Road Kill: 1 robin (not photographed). Sad to think the bird had lived through such a crappy winter here and then never got to enjoy the imminently un-thawing ground and the sure to be fat and available worms.

Schtatjewujeski moidja nueschnie! Padrag Dubstoyevski! OUR roadman in the Kremlin! Saving the world for another plate of liver and onions! The kids asked me yesterday if I would ever eat liver and I thought of your creations - of course! It can be a delicous meal!
ReplyDeleteRide baby ride!
Super food! Liver and Dub Onions. Beets do not go unrecognized in Russia, either.
ReplyDeleteThe liver gap is real. Make no mistake - this country will not shirk its destiny, we will not shrink from the challenges, we will not slink away from the stove just as the onions are sweating. NO. We firmly grasp the handle of the skiddle, we wield a wooden spoon, we prepare our liver slices with concern for those who will eat them, dusting them with judicious amounts of salt and pepper. The beets are ready, blood red with touches of chive. Ask not what liver and onions can do for you - ask what you can do for them. JFScrod
